Requirements
What you need before you start.
Everything here is Shopify's, not ours. We'd rather you find out now than after installing.

Your theme
Any Online Store 2.0 theme, which includes every free Shopify theme and almost every paid theme sold since 2021. If your theme is older, the ordering page can't be added to it, and the app will tell you so rather than half-working.
Tested on Dawn and Horizon, plus themes in the Zest and FoxEcom families. The page inherits your fonts and colours, so it doesn't matter which one you use.
Your customer accounts
Shopify's current customer accounts must be on. B2B can't use the classic accounts system. You can keep classic accounts for retail shoppers if you want to.

Things Shopify B2B doesn't support
Worth knowing before you promise a customer something. These are Shopify's limitations for B2B orders, not ours.
Faster checkouts
Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Amazon Pay aren't available on B2B orders.
Subscriptions
Subscription products can't be bought through B2B checkout.
Local delivery at B2B checkout
Shopify doesn't offer it for B2B orders online; it can be used on draft orders you make in admin. Our app controls who sees it where it is available.
Tipping and gift cards at checkout
Off by default for B2B. Gift cards can be turned back on by Shopify Support.
Legacy accounts
The old customer accounts can't be used for B2B buyers.
Very large orders
Shopify caps an order at 500 different products. Few wholesale orders come close.
What the app needs access to
- Customers and companies — to check which companies can sign in and which have pricing. Read only.
- Products and catalogs — to check your wholesale prices exist. Read only.
- Shipping — to create and remove your wholesale rate tiers.
- Themes and pages — to create the ordering page and check the order form is on it.
- Checkout rules — to run the wholesale shipping gate.

Your buyers' browsers
Anything from the last few years: Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox, on desktop, tablet or phone. The ordering page is tested at phone width and works with a keyboard and a screen reader.
One collection
You choose a collection that holds the products wholesale buyers can order. "All products" is fine to start.
